Jessica walks the dog

2-10-02:

Weekly Anecdotes

  • Jessica insists on holding Jerry's leash while getting ready to leave to take Jerry to the vet and then cries in the car because she can't hold onto the leash, so Mommy detaches the leash from Jerry during the car ride and the reattaches the leash so that Jessica can hold it and the dog while at the vet. Jessica then cries when we take the leash away to take Jerry into the back for some work to be done
  • Jessica likes to push things across the floor, this week she pushes the airfilter across the kitchen floor - she works very hard to get it across the floor because it is very heavy for her and not on wheels
  • Jessica likes to occasionally spoon feed herself for one or two small spoonfuls, but on Saturday night she spoon feeds herself for 10 times or so and then grabs the jar of baby food and dumps the remaining contents onto her face and chest, trying to drink the contents like water from a cup

New Things

  • Jessica eats plain yogurt and breaks out in hives immediately
  • Jessica eats kiwi and tortilla chips this week
  • Jessica is now being offered the solid versions of the jarred baby food that she eats at every meal
  • Jessica now lifts up Mommy's shirt to look for the num and also plays hide and seek with the num during feedings
