Trapeze Arts in Oakland

A couple of moms who have kids in Nursery Blue at Peninsula, also have kids in Jessica's class. One of them organized this trip to Trapeze Arts in Oakland. It worked out to be $40 per person, and it was the best time! I perspired from nervousness like I have never before, but it was fun. I even missed my first catch attempt and hung by one leg until I could "right" myself. Unreal!

We did a bunch of practicing of getting the legs onto the bar (not as easy as it once was), hanging by the knees, reaching, grabbing the bar again, and dropping before the catch by another trapeze person attempt was made. I also got to do some back flip dismounts - FUN!

Highly recommend, and Jess now wants to go to camp there too!

Here we are at Dan and Dina's favorite Ethiopian restaurant in San Jose. I loved eating at the tables and the food was good! Not as good as Cafe Ethiopia in SF, but definitely worth another visit. Honey wine - not for me. They got me this amazing little Jameson ice bucket to match my Hannukah gifty of a mini cocktail shaker and lots (like 10) mini bottles of mostly whiskey, but one little tiney tiny bottle of Jagermeister - yum!

Phish at Shoreline

Before the show started - we are psyched!

We were invited by our friends Karla and Scott (we love you guys!) to join them in the luxury boxes at Shoreline for Phish!! Situated behind the 200 section, the seats were incrdible and the night was awesome. There is a waitress assigned to your box, and she brings you beers all night long! So fun! Phish sounded great - better than I have heard them sound in a long time. One of the top five nights at Shoreline ever.
