Kathleen was working with the last kiddo of the day. This girl had just sat down when her friend came to the door and said, "That is the test I was telling you about...it is soooooo hard." Kathleen reassured the "friend" and reestablished a sense of calm and serenity. After a productive session with this child, Kathleen said to her, "See, that wasn't so bad was it?" Without hesitation the little girl replied, "Well, you know, I am much smarter then her anyway."
